The 870002-PHA Ultra-Pure Water pH electrode measures pH and temperature in pure-water and high-purity water systems.

A polymer-filled reference system helps stabilize the reference junction potential. Its large-area diaphragm sits close to the glass sensing membrane, creating a short, consistent path between the reference junction and measuring element. This arrangement supports a fast response and helps reduce the effect of changes in sample flow on measurement stability.

Controlled electrolyte diffusion limits the amount of electrolyte entering the sample, making the electrode suitable for pure-water monitoring. Applications include thermal power plant water systems, where a suitable flow-through cell is required.

Why is this electrode suited to pure water?
Its polymer-filled reference system and closely spaced reference junction help maintain stable measurements while controlling electrolyte diffusion into the sample.

How is the electrode installed?
It uses twist-lock mounting and 3/4 in. rear-facing threads. A quarter turn inserts or removes the electrode from the process connection.

Can it connect to any pH analyzer?
Confirm the electrode input and temperature compensation requirements of your analyzer before ordering.
