Why High Conductivity Measurement MattersÂ
Most traditional pH/EC meters designed for hydroponics measure conductivity only up to 20 mS/cm, which is adequate for nutrient solutions that typically range from 0.5 to 5 mS/cm and rarely exceed 10 mS/cm. Natural seawater, however, typically measures 50–55 mS/cm, making standard hydroponic meters unsuitable for marine applications.
The meter measures conductivity up to 200 mS/cm, providing accurate testing for seawater, brine solutions, aquaculture systems, and other high-conductivity environments.
