6-in-1 Water Quality Pen is a professional multifunction meter designed to measure pH, Conductivity (EC), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Salinity, Specific Gravity (S.G.) and Temperature in a single, easy to use handheld instrument.

Unlike conventional hydroponic meters limited to 20 mS/cm, the 8699 measures conductivity up to 200 mS/cm, making it ideal for seawater applications, aquaculture, and other high-salinity environments. Featuring automatic ranging, a bright backlit LCD, replaceable sensors and multi-point calibration, this meter delivers fast, accurate measurements for a wide range of laboratory, industrial, commercial and field applications.

Why High Conductivity Measurement Matters 

Most traditional pH/EC meters designed for hydroponics measure conductivity only up to 20 mS/cm, which is adequate for nutrient solutions that typically range from 0.5 to 5 mS/cm and rarely exceed 10 mS/cm. Natural seawater, however, typically measures 50–55 mS/cm, making standard hydroponic meters unsuitable for marine applications.

The meter measures conductivity up to 200 mS/cm, providing accurate testing for seawater, brine solutions, aquaculture systems, and other high-conductivity environments.
